“There is no rule on how to write. Sometimes it comes easily and perfectly: sometimes it’s like drilling rock and then blasting it out with charges.”
ERNEST HEMINGWAY
I always admired those who could unapologetically share their hearts with the world through the written word, and I used to think I had the makings of a gift to do the same. Until I felt like I didn’t. Until fear was crippling and self-doubt reared it’s ugly head. Until I formed a narrative in my mind that my livelihood, future, and financial stability would be tarnished, broken, and dictated by anyone who judged my written word too harshly.
This website is an effort to actively bolster that narrative and re-write a truth aligned with my vision for my best self. I’ve included some content “From the Archives” before my mind became my worst enemy, and I’m excited to use this blog as an experiment to see how my tone has evolved since then, and to practice a craft that once brought me so much joy and fed my creativity.
I’m not here to receive criticism, so if you have that (even if it’s in the form of “feedback”) kindly keep it to yourself.
Cheers,
Mir

B uilding teams, creating communities, and welcoming others to pull a seat up at the table is one of my favorite things EVER. I’m thrilled to have a small army of colleagues who share many of the same commitments to growth, development, and constant refinement. It only felt right to include them in this journey of mine.
